What’s the story?

Lateral thinker at the intersection of intellectual longitude and creative latitude, culture changemaker, jane of all trades & mistress of all.

While some smart alecs went to Harvard in their teens, I was in management positions from the age of 13. As a result of that – and the fact my mind compulsively explores all dimensions, I have lived a million lives – and am finding the strength daily to live a million more.

In the course of things, I’ve gained a reputation on the business & personal grapevine as a professional Swiss army knife and fixer of all things.

Fun facts: I own a whiskey cask. I was on a train with a bomb on board and survived. I speak Georgian. And I collect stories from strangers.

The above facts have no relation to each other.

My favourite project:

RAW

RAW listening nights bring together people from all walks of life for a multi-touchpoint night of experiences and curated storytelling on a theme. RAWs feature uncensored, true stories by everyday humans – paired with live music and art.

More than just a night out, this immersive event bridges social gaps and creates an environment that truly catalyses heart-based understanding of our shared humanity.

The RAW series was designed for this time of division and disconnection and is based on the premise that genuine human connection can be the cure. What if you have more in common with people than you think?

Literally been there, done that.

I’ve worn more hats and held more titles than I can count. If I told you my work history it would sound like a Hollywood movie. Get to know me, and I may share some of my crazy stories. But it all happened the way it did because people trust me, and I go way over ‘above’ and well past ‘beyond’ to not let them down.

Professional past lives include working in sectors as varied as hospitality, real estate, PropTech, entertainment, events, fintech, digital, creative industries, PR, management consulting, business transformation & culture change.

A snapshot, in no particular order:

  • A nano story: Got a job at a music venue & bar when I was 13. Was promoted to General Manager within 6 months. Worked there for years until I was poached by investors to open and run a new bar, which I did successfully until leaving for university.

  • Worked alongside the CEO and Founder of a fintech startup to launch in the UK & 37 countries, while also acting as CMO.

  • Created a workforce development programme for a historic, global fashion brand to build social capital, encourage collaboration and embed a new company culture.

  • Turned a boutique PR agency into a fully fledged media agency, with no budget. How? By expanding their operations, hiring, and training new staff, upselling to existing clients to pay for said staff, and winning new biz. The new division not only was self sustaining, but ended up outperforming the main business arm.

  • What Does Not – culture and experience agency, disrupting the work / leisure divide to unlock agency and access to culture for all (humans and brands).

My process

My process

Operations only work when people are happy. So I listen, relate – and then create. Diving into people, process, and product.

What that looks like is, I leave no stone unturned in diagnosing the problem. Then I roll up my sleeves, restructure, fix, recruit, motivate and inspire - whatever it takes.
